Coverage of the 2011 AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPOSITION
EXEDY participated in the 2011 Automotive Engineering Exposition from May 18th until the 20th at the Shinagawa Pacifico located in Yokohama.
Many came by and visited the EXEDY booth to see the world premiering DCT twin clutch for commercial use as well as to see other developments on display. Another attention grabber was our newly designed clutch that allows the transfer of high torque while keeping a relatively low amount of effort to be used by the driver to press the pedal. This clutch cover is what we call our L-PEC, which stands for Light Pedal Effort Cover.

In order to give the people a chance to experience our patented clutch pedal feeling, we had set up a clutch simulator that compared our L-PEC to a standard conventional clutch. Here the observer could see the difference of pedal effort between the two clutches.
