EXEDY decides its main action plan for general business
We at EXEDY, based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children and the Act to Promote the Activity of Women, have settled on the following action plan.
To put into place an environment that allows for the balance of both work and childcare so that each and every employee can fully display their own potential. In order to promote the activity of women in our organization, we have decided to carry out the contents included below.
2. Period of Effect
This plan will be in effect for a period of two years, starting from April 1, 2016, and ending on March 31, 2018.
3. Issues Our Corporation Faces
1.) The ratio of female employees belonging to our organization is low.
2.) Our female employees average years of service as management trainees is low.
3.) The ratio of female employees in managerial positions is low.
4. Plan Contents
1.）Create a workplace environment focused on active, female employees
We will establish an all-female line at our Ueno Division’s new factory.
2.）Implement measures that enable female employees to work for many years
We plan to increase the enrollment capacity of our on-site daycare.
