Vertiq is a drone propulsion module development company spun out of the University of Pennsylvania. These propulsion modules incorporating position sensing technology significantly improve the power efficiency and safety of drones. Additionally, integrating the motor and ESC achieves weight reduction.

Features

Ultra-compact and lightweight
By integrating the motor and ESC, aluminum parts and wires are minimized, leading to extended flight time and increased payload.
High efficiency
Vertiq's unique control method achieves up to 5% higher efficiency compared to FOC controllers and up to 20% higher efficiency compared to 6-step commutation controllers.
Responsiveness
The communication response speed is 2 to 4 times faster than standard motors and ESCs, allowing for more effective control of the drone and ensuring a safe flight environment.
Safety
Advanced telemetry functions enable real-time monitoring of motor health, alerting the pilot in case of abnormalities and assisting in ensuring the safety of the drone.
Positioning function
The integrated position sensor not only maximizes motor performance during high-speed flight but also precisely identifies the propeller's rotational position.
