EXEDY signed a location agreement with Kameyama City for the construction of a new plant

On December 22, 2020, Our company signed a location agreement with Kameyama City at the Kameyama City Hall for the establishment of a new factory in Kameyama City, Mie Prefecture.

We are planning to build a plant to produce casting parts for manual clutches on a 26,000 m2 site in Shiraki-cho, Kameyama City (Kameyama-Seki Techno Hills).
The aim is to start operations in this smart factory in July 2023. Where we used to rely on the intuition and experience of skilled workers for manufacturing know-how, this new smart factory enables us to optimize production by analyzing product and equipment data.
