Investment in ViXion Inc.
EXEDY Corporation (headquarters: Neyagawa, Osaka) has signed an agreement with ViXion Inc. (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) to underwrite a third-party allocation of new shares.
ViXion is a company that develops, sells, and services wearable devices for people who have visual impairments, based on the philosophy of supporting the possibilities of people around the world by solving the issues related to vision through “Smart Vision” (eye augmentation through vision). We share ViXion’s philosophy and expect future business synergies by investing in ViXion.

The “HOYA MW10 HiKARI” is a low-light, high-sensitivity compact camera that amplifies the smallest amount of light and can capture images in natural colors. It has been uniquely developed and installed in a head-mounted device. The computer processes the image and projects it on the display in front of you, reproducing it in bright color, even in dark areas.
- This is different from monotone night vision cameras that use infrared reflection.
- The “HOYA MW10 HiKARI” is effective for people with “central vision” and “night blindness” (those who can see in the light but have difficulty in the dark).
